Fraser attorney Michigan representative for FDCC

LANSING, MIAnita G. Fox, shareholder with the Lansing, Michigan office of the law firm of Fraser Trebilcock Davis & Dunlap, P.C., has been selected as the State Representative for Michigan by the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC).  Founded in 1936, the FDCC is a selective association of insurance companies, self-insured corporations, and defense counsel.  Ms. Fox was honored with membership in the FDCC in 2007. 

FDCC members are experienced attorneys in private practice, corporate counsel and other executives from throughout the world with national, regional or company-wide responsibility.  Members are selected based upon professional standing and moral character, through a nomination process that includes a thorough investigation and interviews with clients, judges and co-counsel.  FDCC membership is limited to less than 1,000 defense counsel members throughout the United States.  Total membership world-wide is approximately 1,400, and includes members from the United States, Australia, Canada, Europe, Puerto Rico and other areas.  There are 31 members in Michigan, only 3 of whom are women.

Ms. Fox, who earned her J.D. cum laude from of the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from Kalamazoo College, practices primarily in the area of commercial litigation, specializing in insurance coverage.  She previously practiced with the law firm of Steptoe and Johnson in Washington, D.C.  She has been a featured lecturer for Mealey's, the nation’s leading insurance publisher.  Ms. Fox is also fluent in Spanish.
