- Manufacturers report ask only for the basic information they need to send out recall notices.

- The customer signs an Installment Sales Contractor or Lease Agreement with the dealership.
- You provide nonpublic personal information to a third party marketing service and the marketing service has signed an agreement with the dealership not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

- You disclose nonpublic personal information to affiliates and to third parties.
- You provide nonpublic personal information to marketing services and the marketing service has not signed an agreement to not disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
- Your manufacturer’s report requires information regarding where the customer financed the vehicle.
